The Health Unit is slapping on more visitor restrictions at the Pioneer Ridge seniors home on Tungsten Street. Officials say the respiratory illness that originally was declared for Plaza Four has now spread to the entire facility and it’s confirmed to be influenza A. All admissions, transfers, discharges and social activities are cancelled. Visitors are restricted to family members and caregivers only.
