No doubt, Thunder Bay has its fair share of FESTIVALS. But, could there be more? I think so.
Throughout the year, there’s the “Festival of India”, “Festival of Colours”. “Wake The Giant Music Festival”. We have the “Live on the Waterfront Series” in July / August. Don’t forget about the huge “Summer Send-Off” with the City Of Thunder Bay at the end of August, which will feature a 2 night “drone show”.
There’s several more throughout the year, but there could be more. I understand that you can’t compare Thunder Bay to Toronto, but, have you seen some of the festivals they’re hosting this year?
Could Thunder Bay do this too? There’s a massive taco festival coming up in Toronto’s famous Distillery District called “Taco Fest”. It’ll feature over 45 restaurants showcasing some of the taco’s on their menu. Last year, the city of Vaughan hosted “Pizza Fest”. Pizza / beer over 2 days. Imagine a huge Pizza festival at Marina Park? Can we make this happen please!
I have no clue how to plan a festival, so I’ll leave it to the experts. Let’s go! Bring on the PIZZA!!!! Mmmmmmmmmmm!!!
