Ignace Sawmill set for indefinite downtime

More bad news for the lumber industry in northwestern Ontario.

Domtar has indicated it will be shutting down the Ignace sawmill indefinitely.

The downtime will start in March 12th.

The company says the lumber market in North America remains very weak and they have to adjust production levels accordingly.

As many as 25 employees, both inside and outside the mill are affected.
