I discovered a pet-peeve the other day. Please tell me you DON’T DO THIS?

This past Sunday, my wife and I were sitting in the airport lounge at Pearson waiting for our return flight home. As we were sitting there just staring at the wall (we were so exhausted after a full day of travel)………

….some random guy, waiting for the same flight ends up sitting just 2 seats away from my wife and I. He had his earbuds in, then called someone and proceeded to carry on a conversation on the phone. So, he was doing the whole “bluetooth thing”. That’s fine, but do you have to be SO LOUD?

The conversation he was having, lasted almost 15 minutes, and the waiting area was full (people all around him). He was oblivious to his surroundings. Or, like my wife said to me, “he probably doesn’t even notice that he’s talking so loud, or just doesn’t have a care in the world”. We heard his entire conversation, even what he was planning for supper the next night (burgers and fries).

SO, I DISCOVERED MY PET PEEVE: people who talk loudly on their phones using their Bluetooth device, with so many people around them. HOW DO YOU DO IT? Wouldn’t you want to whisper? What am I missing? Help me understand. LOL
