Hydro bills are seeing an 8% drop, as of yesterday.
Ontario has taken the provincial portion of HST off of bills.
Premier Kathleen Wynne says she knows the North needs help with the high cost of hydro.
Wynne adds that more people on low income should apply to the Ontario Energy Support Program.
