Hybrid Second U-S Presidential Debate?

One of the many big questions on everyone’s mind Monday is will President Trump be back at the White House, since being diagnosed with COVID-19.

Saturday, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said the Trumps vitals were concerning, conflicting with the president’s doctor Sean Conley, who said Sunday Meadow’s statement was ‘misleading.’ “What he meant was 24 hours ago when he and I were checking on the President, there was that momentary episode of high fever, which prompted us to act quickly.”

Sunday, Trump appeared in a video and drove along in a limo thanking supporters for their well wishes.

That brings us to the second Presidential Debate, set for October 15th in Miami, might be up in the air.

All other options might be on table, including Democratic challenger and former Vice-President Joe Biden in person while Republican President Donald Trump is involved remotely.

“[Joe Biden] did a great job [in the first debate] of speaking directly to the camera even though the President was continuing to talk.” says Tom Palzewicz, the Democratic Candidate in Wisconsin’s 5th Congressional District. “I think if people showed up to learn something, it didn’t work as a forum.”

Biden and his wife tested negative for the novel coronavirus as did Vice-President Mike Pence, who’s scheduled to debate Democratic challenger Kamala Harris Wednesday in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Palzewicz gave a blunt response when it comes to the first presidential debate: “I don’t think anybody learned anything from it unfortunately, which is what debates are supposed to do. [Instead I believe] it created a higher level of divisiveness and partisanship in [the United States].”

NOTE: Tom Palzewicz is on the ballot with Republican Scott Fitzgerald, who hasn’t returned calls from Acadia Broadcasting for comment
