Hutton Sees New Contract As Job Security

Thunder Bay’s Carter Hutton is looking forward to the new season with the NHL’s Nashville Predators.
And why not? The goaltender just signed a new two year contract worth close to 1 and a half million dollars.
He’s happy that it gives him some job security since he’s always been signing just one year deals.
Hutton says he’s been bounced around so much it’s nice to be in Nashville where he says he’s trusted.
He hopes working with new coach Peter Laviolette will mean a shot at the playoffs.
He says Laviolette will bring a new energy to the team with his different style of coaching which Hutton hopes will help the Predators improve on their ninth place finish this year. (Photo: Vic Krasowski)
