Humane Society Building Clinic

The Thunder Bay and District Humane Society plan on building a new spay and neuter clinic in Thunder Bay.

It would be built on the Humane Society site at Rosslyn Road and will perform a high volume of spay and neuter procedures for around 100 dollars.

Executive Director Melanie Blanchette says that the new facility will help lower the number of homeless animals.

Blanchette goes on to say that spay and neuter clinics have been successful in other areas such as Southern Ontario.
