The new Marriott-Delta hotel on the waterfront appears to be on the verge of getting a building permit from the city.
Spokesperson Des Stolz says the developer applied for the superstructure permit in June and adds city officials are waiting for information on the loading dock and revised site plan. Stolz suggests the developer is close to the finish line.
He says a meeting is planned Monday to go over those final issues and approval could come as soon as next week.
