HNO Planning For Fall Hockey

Advancing to the next step of Hockey Northwestern Ontario’s Return to Play framework.

Officials released their framework on Wednesday and revealed that the Stage 3 measures will be implemented as of Friday, August 13.

Evaluation camps and tryouts will be allowed and each team needs to appoint a COVID-19 contact person.

Spectators are also permitted if the numbers don’t exceed capacity limits under Ontario’s Reopening Plan.

Masks must be worn by on-ice officials until they are on the ice while off-ice officials and team staff need to keep them on anytime they are indoors.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
