Highway 11 and Highway 17 were both closed for extended stretches on Tuesday as the region faced heavy snow.
Highway 17 was closed from Pass Lake Road, just north of Thunder Bay, to Terrace Bay due to poor weather conditions, but is open once more.
Meanwhile, Highway 11 was closed from Nipigon to Longlac, also thanks to poor weather conditions, but it is now open again.
