Highway 61 Reopened After Collision

There is no word on the seriousness of a collision on Highway 61 in the Municipality of Neebing Saturday night.

The Ontario 511 website says it closed Highway 61 from Highway 608 to Highway 593 just before the American border. It reopened just before 10 pm.

A message to our newsroom Facebook page indicates there was a serious collision on Highway 61 at Copper Cliff Road. The message says there were “lots of ambulances.”

There are no further details available.
