Update: Highway 17 reopened east of Nipigon

Highway 17 has been reopened from Nipigon to Marathon, following a closure earlier on Friday morning.

The road closure was due to a snowstorm on Thursday night.

A further stretch of Highway 17 from Marathon to White River was also previously closed but has since been reopened.
