Update: weapons call brings police presence to Harold Street

The Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) is asking residents to avoid the 400 block of Harold Street North due to a significant police presence in the area.

A representative from TBPS has now confirmed that the situation on Harold Street was in response to a weapons call.

Though officers continue to remain at the scene of the incident, TBPS is assuring that there is no threat to public safety.
