Update 5:35 am March 27:
Details are scarce as Thunder Bay police continue to investigate a house on Cumming Street.
They are not confirming what led to the standoff that had officers swarming the area between McKenzie Street and May Street North.
Police are no longer blocking the roads in that area.
Up to a dozen police in tactical gear were visible, and because of that officials had asked you to avoid the area “until further notice.”
