The Heart and Stroke Foundation is closing it’s Thunder Bay office as well as over two dozen across Canada.
A spokesperson for the charity says community fundraising has been on a decline and more of the donations have come in online prompting the move to close the physical offices.
They note they will continue to have a presence in our community with one employee workout out of a home based office.
The foundation feels the redesign will allow them to have more funds for research and advocacy work.
