If you are considering trying cannabis edibles when they become legal, the Thunder Bay Health Unit wants to hear from you.
The public health agency is holding a Facebook Live Q and A session on Wednesday night and spokesperson Miriah Botsford tells us they want residents to be educated on the new products.
“People want to know how to consume edibles in a low-risk way, ways to keep kids safe, and what type of food interactions with cannabis will delay or extend the effects of the hallucinogenic properties of the cannabis.”
Cannabis edibles become legal October 17th; however, Health Canada doesn’t expect them to hit store shelves until December.
The Health Unit suggests if you try edibles to start low and slow so you can see how you will react to them.
