Health Unit Reporting Another 5 Cases Of COVID-19

Thunder Bay’s District Health Unit is reporting five new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Four of the new cases are from Thunder Bay and the surrounding area, and one is in a First Nation community in the health unit’s district. Health officials didn’t say where the cases are.

The new cases range in age from being in their early 20s to people in their 60s and most are related to close contact with someone who had the virus.

The health unit is updating their case information and posting the up-to-date information on their website.

There are now 18 confirmed cases in our health unit district.

There have been several in the health unit district to the west of us the Northwestern Health Unit.
