Thunder Bay’s District Health Unit says the vaccine is the most effective way of reducing risk to influenza, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic also circulating.
With the risk higher to those who are older, and those with medical conditions, the health unit adds the virus could put additional significant strain on the community and health care system.
You can get the flu shot at health care providers, pharmacies, or the local health unit itself.
