The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is currently monitoring three respiratory outbreaks.
Hogarth Riverview Manor is dealing with two parainfluenza outbreaks located in the 7 North – Trillium Resident Home Area, and 3 North – Lily Resident Home Area.
Nipigon District Memorial Hospital is dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak in its Long Term Care Area.
A COVID-19 outbreak at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the 5 South – Geriatric Assessment & Rehabilitative Care Area, and a respiratory outbreak in the hospital’s 2 North – Medically Complex Services have been declared over.
Outbreaks are declared when symptoms increase amongst the residents.
