Work on the Harbour Expressway is advancing, but it’s going to lead to some closures.
The Memorial Avenue and Harbour Expressway intersection is scheduled for overnight closures for the installation of new traffic signals.
They will run from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. starting on Wednesday and continuing until Saturday.
Beginning on Monday, July 29, motorists should expect delays and lane closures in the area during the day.
The intersection will again be closed overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. starting the evening of Tuesday, August 6 and concluding the morning of Saturday, August 10.
Outside of new traffic signals, the closures will allow crews to complete work, including the removal of existing poles and concrete, new concrete work and boulevard restoration, and repaving of the intersection.
