Habitat Breaks Ground On New Duplex

Two single mothers with four children each are the beneficiaries of a semi-detached house built by volunteers at Habitat for Humanity.

CEO Randy Moore tells us Melissa Keefe her four childrenm and Shanda Woodbeck, and her four kids are the beneficiaries .

He says they are “two single mothers working full time…but can’t seem to get ahead,” exactly the type of families who “Habitat loves to work with.”

The ground breaking ceremony took place at 210 Leith Street yesterday afternoon.
