Good News In First Drive-Through Testing

If you went through the District Health Unit’s first drive-through testing for COVID-19, you can breath easy.

It says all 260 samples taken the first weekend have come back negative, which paints a reassuring picture of what is happening. The health unit adds people have caught the virus in the community, but it’s happening at a low level. That being said, officials stress we cannot let our guard down at the good job of containing it, for if we do it can increase and we need to be mindful of that.

The results from last weekend’s testing of 215 people are expected in about 2-5 days.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
