Golf Links Road / and the Harbour Expressway….what’s going on there?

I’m surprised that this story hasn’t been front and centre lately. Recently, our City Council made a zoning announcement. It has to do with the Golf Links Road area, near the Harbour Expressway. They announced two huge developments.

a hotel
a large retail development

I’ve been asked several times (including one person at the grocery store yesterday)…..if COSTCO is the “large retail development”. I don’t have the answer. Costco has been trying to come to Thunder Bay for over 15 years.

What is the “large retail development” that could be coming to the Golf Links Road area? Any thoughts?
