GIRLS NIGHT OUT

It’s Girls Night Out!! and this week Cairo and I talked about things to do in the backyard with the stay at home order we also talked about the weather getting nicer and a serious sunburn I once had. Have you ever been sunburnt before how bad was it? Do you have any sunburn remedies? We also talked about my pick for the tv show of the week. I made Cairo check out The Morning Show which she really liked and would recommend for you to check out. This week we have a new cocktail for you to add to your list as well as a new recipe and tv show and as always if you tried anything out make sure to let us know what you thought!!

COCKTAIL OF THE WEEK: KENTUCKY LEMONADE

How to make:

Step 1: Pour bourbon into glass and fill 1/4 of the glass with lemon juice next fill the rest of the cup with ginger ale.

Step 2: Add 4 to 5 mint leaves, slice a lemon wedge and throw that in or use for garnish on the side.

Ingredients:

  • Ice
  • Lemon Juice
  • 2 Shots Bourbon
  • Ginger Ale
  • Mint
  • Lemon

RECIPE OF THE WEEK: VEGAN COBB SALAD

How to make:

Step 1: Cook your plant based bacon, egg and protein of you choice. I like to use smart bacon from Lightlife and JUST eggs which you can find at Compass Foods.

Step 2: Chop up cucumber and orange pepper.

Step 3: Start making your dressing depending on the size of salad put 2 to 4 table spoons of vegan mayo into a bowl next add lemon juice, garlic powder and dill to taste (The more dill the better in my opinion)

Step 4: Add all ingredients to bowl and mix it up!! Enjoy!!

  • Lettuce of your choice
  • Orange Pepper
  • Cucumber
  • Corn
  • Smart Bacon
  • JUST egg
  • Vegan Mayo
  • Dill
  • Garlic powder
  • Lemon Juice
  • Avocado
  • Protein of your choice
