A 27 year old Geraldton man is in custody after a police search in the Greenstone community.
OPP say it began Friday when police went to a residence as part of an investigation, and the man produced an edged weapon and ran into the bush.
Police put two schools and the hospital under a hold and secure lockdown during the search.
It wasn’t until yesterday the man was found at the Geraldton Hospital and he surrendered peacefully.
He is due for a bail hearing today.
