A popular gathering place for students at Lakehead University has a new look and name.
LU’s Michel Beaulieu notes, the space, now called Alumni Commons, is one of the most heavily used on campus.
He tells us for years it’s been a location where students, faculty, staff and alumni have celebrated achievements.
The space was named to honour former students who have sent over $2 million in donations to the institution over the last half century. (Photo supplied)
