The wait is over for operations to return to normal at Fort William Gardens.
City official Kelly Robertson tells us the ice problems which plagued the arena over the last month have been resolved adding “we’re looking forward to hosting the LU Thunderwolves men’s hockey games this weekend.”
She adds staff say they have brought in groups of skaters to help “with the curing process.”
The unspecified problem with the refrigeration system happened on September 11th and forced the opening of the facility to be postponed by a week.
It also forced the Thunderwolves to cancel two games.
