No one was injured as a result of a garage fire on Algonquin Street.
On Friday morning around 11:30, Thunder Bay Fire Resue was called out to a structural fire.
The garage was already engulfed by flames and smoke by the time fire crews arrived.
Fire fighters were able to knock the fire down and allowed crews to move to the interior of the building and extinguish the fire.
A total of six pumpers responded.
One person was assessed by paramedics as a precaution.
