If you have lead pipes in your home, the city will help you replace them.
The city will loan you up to $3,000 for the cost of updating the pipes, which can be repaid over five years.
It can be used to pay contractors for connection, excavation and backfilling, equipment charges, material or supplies, and building permit fees.
The city is also gradually replacing publicly-owned lead service pipes each year.
