Fun in the Snow

We had a lot of fun this weekend out in the snow with our 4-year-old son. It mostly consisted of walking around, climbing snow piles and playing in the backyard. As you can see here, he made a half-hearted attempt to save me as I fell down a hill.

I’m a big fan of rolling down hills. Not tobogganing or sliding (although I like those as well) but literally rolling down a hill. With the ponch I now have, it’s definitely a bit bumpier of a ride than it used to be.

I’m thinking today might be a good day to actually go sliding on a man-made object as opposed to just tumbling down the hill by myself. I might hit-up Thornloe Park. What are some of your favourite spots? What is your favourite tool to get down the hill? Let me know in the comments! I haven’t been on a Krazy Karpet in years but those were always my favourite. I’m not sure getting on one as an adult would be a good idea. The blinding speed combined with the added weight may be a recipe for disaster.
