They’re all heroes to us so it makes perfect sense that they’re being honoured as action figures! Mattel is releasing a Thank You Heroes line of toys inspired by the essential workers on the frontline during the COVID-19 crisis. Doctors, Nurses, EMTs, Delivery Drivers, and Grocery Store Workers are among the action figures and a five-character Little People Community Champions set.
The net proceeds from each sale will go to an awesome cause in the States called First Responders First, which supports first responder healthcare workers.
Mattel is also helping the cause by making personal protective equipment like face shields and cloth face masks. Solid work, Mattel! I knew supporting them by whining to my parents that I needed ALL the He-Men toys back in the day would be worth it someday!
