From the Border Cats to Canada Day and more

With the May Long Weekend officially in the books – we now set the plans in motion for what’s to come for the rest of Spring……..and Summer.

Today, on Tell Me Something Good – let’s share some of those “fun / exciting things” on the calendar.

Our Thunder Bay Border Cats baseball team is getting ready for another season.  It starts this Monday, on the road in Waterloo.  The Border Cats first home game is set for the 29th at Port Arthur Stadium, followed by fireworks.

Fort William Historical Park is officially open for the season.  They have a bunch of events planned, including the celebration of National Indigenous People’s Day in June, followed by Canada Day celebrations, The Great Rendezvous in July.

Border Cats pitcher Mikaio Cis will return in 2026

The CITY is getting ready for several events.  The KITE FESTIVAL is set for June 7th;  followed by Canada Day events at the Marina;  July 7th the annual TEDDY BEARS PICNIC.  The LIVE ON THE WATERFRONT series starts on July 15th.

This is just a short rundown of events – and we’re ready for them.  We’re now less than a month away from the official start of SUMMER………and we say:  BRING IT ON.

Remember – you’ll find a huge list of events online at Your Thunder Bay, under our “Events” calendar.
