Friday Final Day To Register For Gift Box

Friday’s the final day to register for a food and gift box from Thunder Bay’s Christmas Cheer.

Chair Joleene Kemp tells us last year they provided enough food for 8,000 people. “We are anticipating a similar number this year, we would be presently surprised and very happy if it was less but we are preparing to supply the same gift box for the first and last family that comes to see us.”

Acadia Broadcasting will be live on the air Monday for 12 Hours of Cheer at the charity’s headquarters in support of their fundraising efforts.

On Tuesday, people who live on the north side of the city will be picking up their gift boxes from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the CLE’s Coliseum building. Wednesday has been set aside for those who live on the south side.
