Four Active Cases In The District

Encouraging news when it comes to the active COVID-19 case count in the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

Despite one new infection Friday, officials indicate there are just four active cases heading into the weekend.

Two more cases are resolved and the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre no longer has a patient being treated for COVID-19.

In Ontario 781 new cases reported, the highest daily count since June 4 (914).

17 deaths were also revealed but official caution that 14 of those are part of a data cleanup.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
