The Fort William Rotary’s 38th House Lottery is officially underway.
This year’s house is located at 101 Bruin Crescent in the Parkdale area and it is 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house valued at $748,704.
“Fort William Rotarians are excited to once again launch our annual House Lottery and thanks to the continued support of ticket buyers, we have been able to make a positive impact on our community for 37 years,” said Fort William Rotary House Lottery Chair Cindy Levanto. “It’s a massive undertaking for our small club and we could not do this every year without the support of our community partners.”
In addition to the main prize, there is also $50,000 in early bird prizes, with the first winner to be announced on April 12.
Weekly open houses are starting on Saturday April 27, and are continuing every Saturday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm until draw day on July 1.
Since its inception the house lottery has raised just under $8,000,000 for local organizations.
Last year the rotary set the record for funds raised during the event coming in at just over $660,000.
The proceeds of the lottery go to help many projects, large and small, in Thunder Bay and the region.
