Fort William Fall Street Festival Hosting ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

City Councillor Larry Hebert is getting doused in ice, today.
Organizers with this afternoon’s Fort William Fall Street Festival are adding a mass ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to the event.
Crock N Dile owner Kathy Skirving says she and Hebert will be doing their challenge at 11:30 a.m., but hints other city reps will also be on hand.
“Anybody that wants to do the challenge is more than welcome to come,” she says. “Bring a group of friends, challenge your hockey team, or whoever to come out and do it. It’ll just be a blast.”
Skirving adds 50 bags of ice have been donated.
The Ice Bucket Challenge will be taking place in the area of Victoriaville and Petrie’s Cycle and Ski.
