Former city councillor Larry Hebert is going to continue to wait in jail for his next day in court. A bail hearing has been rescheduled several times already and is now expected to happen on January 23rd. Hebert appeared in court today wearing a beige coloured sweatshirt.
The 72-year-old was charged with attempted murder in November following what police called a “serious incident” at a south Vickers street home. Police say a man attacked and threatened an individual inside the home and that person was able to run to a nearby home to call 911.
There is a publication ban in place covering many of the details of the court proceedings.
