The new COVID-19 vaccine roll-out in Canada cannot come soon enough for Ontario’s premier.
“The clock is ticking we can’t be last in line. The sooner we get this vaccine the sooner we’ll get life back to normal the sooner this awful pandemic is over,” explained Doug Ford.
He does not want other countries to get the vaccine without getting a clear answer from Ottawa on when we as Canadians will receive our supplies.
Ford says in his discussion with Justin Trudeau he told the prime minister “We need answers and we expect answers because we can’t have Canadians watching as our allies start getting vaccines without having a clear answer on when we will be getting it.”
The premier is promising a plan on rolling out the vaccine in the province is in the works having tasked former General Rick Hellier with that responsibility.
