Eight Arrested In A Pair Of Drug Calls

Four from Thunder Bay picked up in a pair of calls that nabbed drugs.

The first happened just after 3:30 a.m. December 15th in the area of Shuniah Street and Hudson Avenue after officers noticed a vehicle with an expired validation tag.

The vehicle was stopped and police collected suspected cocaine and suspected Oxycodone tablets.

A 29-year-old will be back in court at a future date.

The next call occurred in the 5:00 p.m. hour at a home on Mountdale Avenue.

Officers raided the home and obtained cocaine, crack cocaine, Oxycodone pills, and $10,000 cash.

Another 29-year-old along with a 52-year-old man and a 65-year-old will return before a judge.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
