Five Active Cases In The District

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit adds another case of COVID-19.

Officials indicate Tuesday that the newest case was obtained through travel outside of Northwestern Ontario.

There are now five active cases while the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is treating one individual with COVID-19 in the Intensive Care Unit.

The province is reporting 321 new cases of COVID-19, 267 of which are unvaccinated individuals.

Ontario is stating that 94 people are hospitalized with the virus, 28 of who are unvaccinated. 113 people are being treated in the ICU because of COVID-19, 83 who are unvaccinated.

Beginning Tuesday, daily Ontario updates will have more in depth information.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
