Fort Hope and Whitesand First Nations are working together on tourism-related economic opportunities within their traditional homelands.
They signed a Memorandum of Understanding yesterday laying out their priorities.
The two communities have been working with Ontario Parks on park management planning for several years and see Wabakimi Provincial Park and adjacent parks as culturally appropriate opportunities for tourism related economic development.
