Fire causes extensive damage

One person suffered smoke inhallation as a result of a house fire on Prince Arthur Boulevard.

The blaze broke out just after 8 am Wednesday morning.

Upon arrival, crews saw smoke coming from the second story windows.

Fire fighters made entry and went to the second floor to attack the fire.

Flames were quickly knocked down, the fire was under control, and fire crews prevented further expansion of the blaze throughout the home.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue says the building sustained extensive fire, smoke and water damage.
