Finlandia Club Hosts Conservative Candidate

A federal Conservative leadership hopeful will be in Thunder Bay this week.

Members of the local conservative board have confirmed Peter MacKay will be at the Finlandia Club, Thursday from 5 until 6:30pm.

He’s facing a number of MPs including Erin O’Toole, Marilyn Gladu and Leslyn Lewis for the leadership of the party.

MacKay was the Foreign Affairs Minister under Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and was first elected to office in 1997 in Nova Scotia.

Erin O’Toole was in Thunder Bay recently.
