Federal Carbon Tax Starts Today

The federal carbon tax will be applied starting today in four provinces, including Ontario.

Plenty of chatter all over social media, especially from federal and provincial conservatives, with pictures of them filling their gas tanks over the weekend, as they say the price at gas stations will go up about 4-cents a litre.

The federal tax is applied to this province, but also Saskatchewan, Manitoba and New Brunswick, provinces which haven’t signed onto the federal plan.

Some gas stations in Thunder Bay are now posting $1.40/litre.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
