Ontario Finance Minister Vic Fedeli is defending the PC’s fiscal road map.
Fedeli outlined that plan recently.
In a speech afterwards, Fedeli calls it a plan for the people.
“It’s a plan that sets us down a much different path,” Fedeli claims. “One that will restore our fiscal health, preserve critical services, and provide much-needed tax relief to hard-working individuals, families, and businesses.”
Fedeli says it also underscores their desire to restore the public’s trust in government.
He says they are also already showing results.
“We have found 2% across the board, or $3.2 billion dollars in savings, in the short time we’ve been there.”
Fedeli claims that’s been done without a tax hit, job cut or a reduction in front line services.
