Thunder Bay has begun its preparation for the winter.
Fall street sweeping is now underway.
The program focuses on removing leaves and debris from the roadway to prevent blockage of storm sewer drains.
The sweeping operations started on Wednesday and are expected to run into November.
The city is asking drivers and pedestrians to use extra caution around the street sweepers.
