The Staal Foundation Open is on the government’s funding radar.
The province has announced the golf tournament is receiving $87,000 as part of the $19 million in Celebrate Ontario festivals and events grants announced today.
Also on the receiving end was the Festival of India in Thunder Bay which is getting $22,000 to help organizers put on their summer event.
