As CF Canada’s largest national fundraising event, the 2025 Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History will take place on Sunday, May 31st. We are excited to announce The Walk will be an in-person event in over 40 communities across Canada and engaging over 4,000 participants. The local Walk will be held at Halfway Motors Powersports and walk along the beautiful walking path to and from Williams Street. There will be raffles, activities and special guests on site during and after the Walk. A fundraising BBQ will also held. There will be hot dogs and sausages and drinks available for a donation to CF. The Popcorn Guy will also be in attendance with his flavoured popcorn cart supporting the cause.
Walk Day Schedule:
On-site Registration/Check In: 11:00 a.m.
Opening Ceremonies: 12:00
Walk Start Time: 12:15 p.m. – Thunder Bay Police Pipes and Drums to lead walkers onto walk route.
Fundraiser BBQ starts : 12:30 p.m
After Walk Activities and CF Speaker: 1:15 p.m.
Awards, draws and closing ceremonies: 2:00 p.m.
