In Ontario, we’ve celebrated the Family Day Long Weekend since 2008. It was a ‘provincial election’ promise made in 2007. Do you have plans? There are a few things happening in town this weekend.
The City Of Thunder Bay will host another “Winter Fun Day” on Sunday from 2-4 at Marina Park. One of the events planned is………ICE FISHING. You don’t even need any equipment. The City will provide the rods etc. It’s also a ‘licence-free fishing weekend’ in Ontario.
Plus, Fort William Historical Park announced activities this long weekend. They’re open Saturday to Monday from 11 to 5 with skating, tubing, snowshoeing and solar viewing. Check out their website for full details and costs.
Plus – LU Thunderwolves HOCKEY at the Gardens tonight and Saturday night. These are their final 2 home games of the season. Go THUNDERWOLVES!
